Call Me by Your Name is a romantic drama genre directed by Luca Guadagnino (A Bigger Splash, Suspiria) adapted from Andre Aciman's 2007 novel "Call Me by Your Name". Then developed by James Ivory (The Golden Bowl, The White Countess), Walter Fasano (Never Here, Respiri) and the director Luca Guadagnino as the screenplay of this movie story.
Luca also took a fair share of producer seats with Emilie Georges (Still Alice, Piercing), James Ivory (Maurice, Le divorce), Marco Morabito (I Am Love, The Landlords), Howard Rosenman (I Have it, Lazy Eye), Peter Spears (The Opposite of Sex, Something's Gotta Give) and Rodrigo Teixeira (A Clambra, Severina).
This collaboration between Italy, America, Brazil and France features famous actors and actresses such as Timothee Chalamet (Interstellar, Beautiful Boy), Armie Hammer (The Man from UNCLE, Cars 3), Michael Stuhlbarg (Arrival, Gore), Amira Casar Not My Type, The Forbidden Room) and Esther Garrel (Thirst Street, Lover for a Day).
The film Call Me by Your Name is distributed by Sony Pictures Classics in collaboration with Frensy Film Company's film production, La Cinefacture, RT Features and Water's End Productions have spent a film budget of around € 4 million (4 million Euro).

Synopsis Film Call Me by Your Name:
The movie Call Me by Your Name adapts the story of Andre Aciman's novel telling of an 18-year-old Italian American named Elio (Timothee Chalamet). Elio has a close relationship with his father (Michael Stuhlbarg), a prominent Greco-Roman cultural specialist and his mother, Annella (Amira Casar) who is a translator.
Set in 1983, they lived in a family villa from the 17th century in northern Italy. There Elio just lazing around, playing music swimming in the river and teasing a girl named Marzia (Esther Garrel).
Arriving during the annual summer internship, Oliver (Armie Hammer) an American graduate student is completing his doctoral program to come in charge of helping Elio's father. In that summer, Oliver and Elio share an unforgettable summer with music and romance that will change them forever.
Elio enjoys a close relationship with his father (Michael Stuhlbarg), an eminent professor specializing in Greco-Roman culture, and his mother Annella (Amira Casar), a translator, who supports him with the fruits of high culture in a setting that overflows with natural delights. While Elio's sophistication and intellectual gifts suggest he is already a fully-fledged adult, there is much that yet remains innocent and unformed about him, especially about matters of the heart.
One day, Oliver (Armie Hammer), a charming American scholar working on his doctorate, arrives as the annual summer intern tasked with helping Elio's father.
