Murder on the Orient Express is a film made by 20th Century Fox genre of crime drama directed by Kenneth Branagh (Mindhorn, Dunkirk). Adapted from Agatha Christie's 1934 detective novel "Murder on the Orient Express" and became the fourth film of the novel's adaptation, with the first film released in 1974, the second being a 2001 TV movie and a TV series entitled Agatha Christie's Poirot in 2010.

The story of the novel was developed again by Michael Green as the screenwriter in this film. as a distributor, 20th Century Fox entrusted the production of this film to the newly released producer of his latest film, Blade Runner 2049, Ridley Scott with his colleagues, Mark Gordon (Midway, Source Code 2), Simon Kinberg (Logan, The New Mutants) Judy Hofflund (As You Like It, Artemis Fowl) and Michael Schaefer (Alien Covenant, The Martian).

Film producers Kinberg Genre, The Mark Gordon Company, Scott Free Productions and The Estate of Agatha Christie have lined up Hollywood stars in this murder-themed movie like Johnny Depp (Pirates of the Caribbean, Black Mass), Josh Gad (Pixels, Marshall ), Willem Dafoe (Justice League, Aquaman), Penelope Cruz (Zoolander 2, Loving Pablo), Michelle Pfeiffer (Mother !, Ant-Mant and the Wasp), Judi Dentch (Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, Spectre) and Daisy Ridley (Star Wars The Last Jedi, Ophelia). Also with the director, Kenneth Branagh who plays as a detective from Belgium.

Film Synopsis Murder on the Orient Express

Murder on the Orient Express film tells the story of a famous detective Hercule Poirot (Kenneth Branagh) who will go to London by train Simplon-Orient Express. On the way he meets a man named Samuel Ratchett (Johnny Depp) who asks for help by hiring the detective's services because his life is being threatened.

Unfortunately Poirot refused. What a surprise Poirot had found when Ratchett's body lay awkward the next morning in an Orient Express carriage. Poirot was asked to investigate the case by seeking evidence from past victims and why he left America.
