The Greatest Showman is an American film adapted from the true story of the legendary figure of the entertainment world named Phineas Taylor Barnum otherwise known as P.T. Barnum built one of America's greatest circus performances in the 1860s, Barnum & Bailey Circus.
The musical drama was co-produced by 20th Century Fox as a distributor alongside the production of the film, Chernin Entertainment, Seed Productions, Laurence Mark Productions and TSG Entertainment by hooking Michael Gracey (Shiny, Pre-Production: Naruto) as a director.
The film is produced by Laurence Mark (Last Vegas, Flatliners), Peter Chernin (Spy, Red Sparrow) and Jenno Topping (Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, The Mountain Between Us).
The Greatest Showman movie plot is composed by Jenny Bicks (The First Wives Club). As for the script of this film, Jenny accompanied by Bill Condon (Mr. Holmes, Beauty and the Beast) in writing it.
The biopic presents top actors and actresses like Hugh Jackman (Logan, Broadway 4D) who will play Barnum early in his career as a businessman and showman, Zac Efron (Baywatch, The Disaster Artist) who will play a business partner Barnum, Phillepe who later fell in love with a trapeze artist named Anne, played by Zendaya (Spider-Man Homecoming, Duck Duck Goose). Also participate Rebecca Ferguson (The Girl on the Train, The Snowman), Keala Settle (Ricki and the Flash), Paul Sparks (Midnight Special, Thoroughbreds) and Michelle Williams (Manchester by the Sea, Wonderstruck).
The plan, The Greatest Showman will be released on Christmas at the end of December with its tagline, "The Impossible Comes True".
