Star Wars Movie Episode 8: The Last Jedi 2017

Star Wars The Last Jedi otherwise known as Star Wars Episode 8 is Rain Johnson's film (Brick, Looper) as the director and storyline writer. The film became the second movie of the Star Wars sequel trilogy that will continue the story of Star Wars Episode VII Force Awaken (2015).


Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures as the Distributors entrusted the 8th Star Wars movie to Rian Johnson after the decision of JJ Abrams (Directed The Force Awaken) who will not be directing the Star Wars movie, but he still joins the film as executive producer with Kathleen Kennedy and Tom Karnowski.

After his regrets not directing the film, J. J. Abrams will direct the Star Wars Episode IX film to be released in late 2019.

Bergenre adventure and war between galaxies, this mega franchise film was produced by Kathleen Kennedy (The BFG, The Girl on the Train) and Ram Bergman (Don Jon, Papillon) with her production house, Lucasfilm.

The last Star Wars movie Jedi will re-starring Mark Hamill (Kingsman: Secret Service, Brigsby Bear), Carrie Fisher (Maps to the Stars, Wonderwell), Adam Driver (Silence, Logan Lucky), Daisy Ridley (Murder on East Express, Peter Rabbit), John Boyega (Circle, Pacific Circle: Rebellion), Oscar Isaac (Life itself, Suburbic), Lupita Nyong'o (Jungle Book, Black Panther), Andy Serkis (War for Planet Ape, Jungle Book) and Domhnall Gleeson (Mother !, American Made).

Also included are new players like Benicio del Toro (Perfect Day, Avengers Infinity War), Laura Dern (Specific Woman, Downsizing) and Kelly Marie Tran (Fall Into Me, XOXO) who will play the role of the character created by George Lucas (Strange Magic , Indiana Jones 5).

This is the latest film from Carrie Fisher that has been published in December 2016 and for the next episode, we will not be able to see again the daughter of Leia Organa played by Carrie Fisher.

Star Wars movie Episode VIII The Last Jedi is scheduled to air in the middle of the month with a movie about two and a half hours.
